About City  About Lima 
Universidad del Pacífico is located in Lima, the capital city of Peru. Founded in 1535, the city of Lima offers an exciting combination of tradition and modern life. Lima is known as the “City of Kings,” and is the country’s most populous city, forming the heart of Peru’s cultural, political, and financial activities. 

While exploring museums, theaters, cinemas, and art galleries, exchange students will find that multiculturalism is a main feature of the Peruvian capital.

Academic Programs Academics and Courses
Universidad del Pacífico offers a variety of courses in Economics, Business Administration, Accounting, Business Engineering, Finance, Law, Information Engineering, Marketing, and International Business.

Almost all courses are dictated in Spanish; therefore, it is highly recommended that exchange students have a good level of language fluency. A list of courses taught in English is available upon request.

Exchange students are also encouraged to attend arts and culture workshops, activities, and cultural trips offered by the UP International Office. Special Intermediate and Advanced level Spanish courses are available for exchange students prior to the beginning of each semester.

Housing Housing
Housing in Lima is varied and offers options and costs that cater to each student's specific needs. Available options include student houses, homestays, and apartment rentals. The International Office at the Universidad del Pacífico can provide information and assistance to exchange students regarding these accommodation options.

Student Visa Student Visa
Depending on nationality and length of stay, exchange students accepted to study at Universidad del Pacífico will typically need to obtain a visa prior to their arrival in Lima.  Once accepted, a visa officer at UP will provide further guidance and assistance.  Since visa rules and regulations change frequently, consult the nearest Peruvian embassy or consulate for the most up-to-date information.
