About City  About Nanjing
Southeast University is located at the center of the ancient capital city of Nanjing, a sacred place for education since the Ming Dynasty, and the second largest commercial center in the East China region, behind only Shanghai. As the capital of Jiangsu Province, Nanjing is one of the important industrial bases in East China, accounting for about 1% of the country total in terms of gross industrial capability.

Nanjing is also a city full of vigor and opportunities and offers a window for you to get a glimpse of real China. The city is full of historic sites and natural beauties, including the Ming Xialing Mausoleum, Niushou Mountain, and Qixia Temple.
