Academic Programs Academics and Courses
Exchange students can choose from an extensive range of programs at the University of Liverpool.  A class/unit of study is known as a “module,” and students are encouraged to select modules at one level within the same department in order to reduce the likelihood of scheduling conflicts. Some modules may not be open to exchange students.

Housing Housing
Exchange students will be able to apply for a single, fully-furnished bedroom in the University of Liverpool’s Study Abroad Village. The village accommodates approximately 350 incoming and outgoing exchange students, creating a truly international atmosphere. Accommodations include single bedrooms organized into small groups around shared kitchens and washing facilities.

Student Visa Student Visa
Depending on nationality and length of stay, exchange students accepted to study at the University of Liverpool for 6 months or less will typically need to obtain a Short Term Study Visa prior to their arrival. If a visa is required, applications should be submitted online through the UK Visas & Immigration portal.  Since visa rules and regulations change frequently, consult the nearest embassy or consulate of the United Kingdom for the most up-to-date information.
