Meet with Us

Contact Us
There are several ways you can connect with Education Abroad!

Peer Advising
Peer advisors are UT Dallas students who have returned from studying abroad. They can help you explore program options and give you tips on how to navigate the Comets Abroad Portal.  They can also provide a student perspective and share their own study abroad experiences with you.  Peer advising days/times vary each semester.  For upcoming sessions, visit the Comet Calendar.

Walk-In Advising
Meet with an Education Abroad advisor to discuss program options, the application process, scholarship opportunities, and more. Education Abroad walk-in advising is offered every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. in the International Center, SSB 3.600. Advising is on a first-come, first-served basis, and there are two ways to join the queue:
  • Visit SSB 3.600 and ask for Education Abroad advising.
  • Get in line before you arrive by texting "utdal intl" to (310) 740-7906.
NOTE: Education Abroad is currently hosting all advising appointments via Microsoft Teams/Zoom.  To request an appointment, complete this online advising request form.

Advising Appointments
If you are unable to attend walk-in advising hours, contact us to schedule an advising appointment. Send a preferred day and time to EducationAbroad@utdallas.edu and we will confirm if an advisor or peer advisor is available.

Find Us on Campus
Throughout the year, Education Abroad participates in a number of campus events, including pop-up advising tables, organization fairs, and classroom presentations.  For a list of our upcoming events, visit the Comet Calendar.
