Program Overview New Program Overview
The Japan-America Grassroots Summit is an annual gathering that provides an opportunity for a “grassroots exchange.” The program includes homestays, sightseeing, and various cultural activities.

Following the Grassroots Summit in Nara, UT Dallas students will visit Kochi University in Shikoku Island. Students will attend Japanese language courses, visit local business, and experience Japanese culture.  Kochi University students will welcome and will participate in seminar discussions.

Following Kochi, students are invited to visit one of the most exciting cities in the world: Tokyo. Students will visit and hold seminars with Japanese leading companies, such as TOYOTA, All Nippon Airways, Mitsubishi, Kikkoman and others.
