|The following program is a summer program offered at a partner institution. Partner summer programs are considered "general study abroad" and are not part of the UTD exchange agreement. Tuition and fees for summer programs are paid directly to the partner institution itself.|
|Established in 1898, Wirtschafts Universität Wien (WU), also known as the Vienna University of Economics and Business, is one of Europe’s biggest, most modern universities of economic sciences. The institution is renowned for its high-quality education, its internationalization efforts, and its impressive, modern campus.
The International Summer University WU (ISU WU) is an intensive short-term program. Students from all around the globe will come to WU, bringing with them their unique backgrounds and a passion for intercultural learning. The two ISU WU sessions (July and August) offer a wide range of courses at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.

|The academic program at ISU WU is provided by a team of experienced WU and international lecturers who offer a large variety of business-related courses in English. These courses do not aim to provide basic knowledge, but to deepen the students' understanding of business topics. Engaging teaching methods are used in all courses and are complemented by interesting company visits.
|For more information, visit the Academic Program webpage.|
|There is no need to apply for housing, as accommodations are arranged automatically for all ISU WU participants. The program fee includes single-room accommodation in a student residence hall located off-campus in the city of Vienna. Students who wish to organize their own accommodation should contact the ISU WU program manager or assistant.|
|For more information, visit the Accommodations webpage.|
|Depending on nationality and length of stay, students accepted to study at ISU WU may or may not need to obtain a visa prior to their arrival in Austria. Citizens of countries under a visa exemption agreement with Austria are able to enter the country without a visa for a specified period of time (typically 90 days or three months). Citizens of other countries may be required to obtain a travel visa C for stays in Austria no longer than 90 days.
Since visa rules and regulations change frequently, consult the nearest Austrian embassy or consulate for the most up-to-date information.
