LSE Summer School offers over 80 three-week courses taught by LSE’s world-renowned faculty. All courses take place on the LSE campus in the heart of Central London. The summer program boasts the world's largest intake of international study abroad undergraduates compared with other summer schools across the globe.

Course Correlation Application and Fees
Students can apply for one, two or three sessions. However, you must apply separately for each session on the Education Abroad portal as well as the LSE program website by clicking on the buttons below.

About City Academic Program
Courses taught during the Summer School are based on regular LSE undergraduate courses and are taught to the same standards by leading LSE faculty. Lecturers are experts in their chosen fields and committed to teaching with academic rigor and contemporary relevance. Over 80 courses are offered in a variety of subject areas, including Accounting, Business, Culture and Environment, Economics, Law, and more.  It is only possible to take a maximum of one course per session.

LSE also offers a wide range of social activities, solely for Summer School students.  Events and activities include LSE receptions, West End Theatre trips, excursions to Oxford, Cambridge, and Bath, and more!

Housing Housing
You can choose from nine different locations, offering single, twin and triple accommodation with shared or private en suite facilities.

Room types and facilities vary slightly between halls, but all residences are within easy walking distance of LSE campus. For detailed prices, download the LSE Summer School accommodation price list.

Student Visa Student Visa
Visa regulations change frequently therefore students are strongly advised to browse LSE's International Student Visa Advice Team (ISVAT) for information and advice. If a student does require a visa then they should ensure that they apply to the Summer School as soon as possible, as the visa process can often be very lengthy. To check whether or not you need a visa for Summer School study, please visit the UKVI website.
