JSOM departmental study abroad approval must be obtained through the JSOM Study Abroad office to participate in this study abroad program. Complete the online JSOM Approval Form to be considered.

Priority will be granted to Jindal School of Management (JSOM) students. Others may be considered.

The University of Economics in Bratislava (UEBA) is nowadays considered  one of the most important educational and scientific-research institutions in the Slovak Republic. The UEBA is a public Higher Education Institution focusing on Economics, Business, and Management.

It provides higher education in Bachelor’s, Master’s and Doctoral programmes for full-time and part-time students. On the basis of the comprehensive accreditation of Higher Education Institutions in the Slovak Republic, which took place in the years 2008-2009 in compliance with the Act on Higher Education, the UEBA was included in the highest category of HEIs in the Slovak Republic, among “Higher Education Institutions of University Type”.

The University is located in Bratislava, the capital and largest city of the Slovak Republic.

The Slovak Republic is situated in Central Europe, sharing borders with Austria, Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland and Ukraine. Mountains, lowlands, valleys, lakes, cave formations, forests and meadows provide many examples of Slovakia’s year-round natural beauty.

Student and Academics Icon Academic Programs
The UEBA offers exclusively programmes accredited at national level by the Accreditation Commission, which is a counselling body of the Ministry of Education of the Slovak Republic. Quality of the delivery of study programmes is continuously monitored and evaluated according to the rules set up by the internal quality monitoring system.

30 ECTS credits per semester is considered to be the regular workload for an exchange student. However, the schedule of each student should be discussed with the home institution prior to the student’s departure. The home institution is to decide which courses are applicable to the student’s programme and to consider the number of courses representing a full semester.

Housing Icon Housing
Hankuk Dorm The University offers housing in dormitories. The number of beds is limited and the number of applicants for accommodation at the Ekonom residence hall is growing annually. Furthermore, we are not obliged to guarantee accommodations for all students.Therefore, each student must send the completed accommodation form via e-mail to the Incoming Student Coordinator:  sufficiently ahead of time.
