|JSOM departmental study abroad approval must be obtained through the JSOM Study Abroad office to participate in this exchange program. Complete the online JSOM Approval Form to be considered.
This exchange program is currently only open to students in the Jindal School of Management (JSOM). If space is available, others may be considered.

|Sabanci University is situated in the serene city of Tuzla, Turkey. Located approximately 25 miles from bustling Istanbul, Tuzla is a small-town suburb, famous for its seafront and many seafood restaurants. The region also boasts a rich historical and cultural heritage within a multi-ethnic and multicultural environment.
Nearby Istanbul is often referred to as the cultural capital of Turkey, teeming with historic and religious sites, famous cuisine, palaces and museums, and shopping districts. With a population of 12.8 million, Istanbul is also the largest city in Turkey and the 5th largest city in the world.

|Academics and Courses|
|Exchange students can choose from a variety of courses taught at the undergraduate and graduate level. Coursework may be assessed through examinations, projects, written papers, class presentations, assignments, and attendance. To view a list of courses, visit the School of Management webpage.
Although the language of instruction at SU is English, students are encouraged to enroll in Turkish language courses during their exchange semester. Language courses are offered at various levels, including basic, intermediate, and advanced.

|Exchange students are offered accommodation in student dormitories, provided they submit the housing application on time. All dormitory rooms accommodate two to four students and are equipped with showers, closets, and internet access. Shared common areas include laundry facilities, study halls, a cafeteria, and TV rooms.|

|Depending on the nationality and length of stay, exchange students accepted to study at Sabanci University may need a student visa. Students should consult the nearest Turkish consulate to determine if they will need a student visa to study in Turkey. If required, students will need to apply for the visa at least 2 months prior to their exchange semester.
Regardless of visa requirements, all exchange students are required to apply for a residence permit within 30 days of arriving in Turkey.
