JSOM departmental study abroad approval must be obtained through the JSOM Study Abroad office to participate in this exchange program. Complete the online JSOM Approval Form to be considered.

This exchange program is currently only open to students in the Jindal School of Management (JSOM).  If space is available, others may be considered.

Academic Programs Academics and Courses
Exchange students can choose from a range of business courses taught in English. The academic approach is structured around integrating the latest technologies into the learning process and the importance of working on real-life situations, otherwise known as “learning by doing.” These key principles are central to many of the classes, workshops, and projects within the program.  

Note: Undergraduate students will attend classes on the Saint-Étienne campus and graduate students will attend classes on the Lyon-Ecully campus.

Student Visa Student Visa
Depending on nationality and length of stay, exchange students accepted to study at EMLYON Business School will typically need to obtain a visa prior to their arrival in France. There are two types of visas:
  • Short-stay visa (visa de court séjour) is issued for stays up to 3 months
  • Long-stay visas (visas de long séjour) are issued for stays over 3 months
Since visa rules and regulations change frequently, consult Campus France for the most up-to-date information.
