About City  About Grenoble
Grenoble Ecole de Management offers an exceptional setting for studying in France. A modern and dynamic city located in the heart of the Alps, the city of Grenoble has a lot to offer, including beautiful mountain ranges, 22 museums, and miles of cycling paths.

More than 60,000 students and 8,000 researchers along with companies such as Caterpillar, Hewlett-Packard, Rhône-Poulenc, and Schneider Electric show that Grenoble is a booming city where technology and education play a major role. Centrally located, the city is also within easy reach of Paris, Switzerland, and Italy.

Academic Programs Academics and Courses
Exchange students can choose from a variety of business courses offered in the following subject areas: Accounting, Entrepreneurship, Finance, Human Resources, Innovation Technology, International Development, and Marketing.  Grades are typically assessed through examinations, quizzes, reports, in-class activities, and presentations.

Exchange students are also required to take a "French as a Foreign Language" (FLE)  module.  A placement test will be administered upon arrival.
For more information, visit the Academic Programs webpage.
Housing Housing
As the Grenoble campus is located in downtown Grenoble, the university does not offer student housing. All students live off-campus, mostly within walking distance of the school. To assist students in finding housing, GEM has a private online platform dedicated to listing accommodation options for its students. Students will receive a code to log into the platform once accepted to study at GEM.

Student Visa Student Visa
Depending on nationality and length of stay, exchange students accepted to study at Grenoble Ecole de Management will typically need to obtain a student visa prior to their arrival in France. Since visa rules and regulations change frequently, consult Campus France for the most up-to-date information.

Testimonials Student Testimonials
"Grenoble is a perfect study abroad location, as it is close to both Switzerland and Italy, so it is ideal for travel. I was extremely surprised at how open and friendly the students in my class were; as they were all so willing to help my fellow exchange classmates and I integrate." – Anuja Parikh, United States
